Chapter 32: Mayhem – His First Time as a Body Double

The kiss me, I kiss you playtime antics persisted for a while, even during bath time where it became you wash my back, I’ll massage your shoulders.

However, happy times will always come to an end one day.

That day, Su Yi Mo had dug out one of his favorite outfits for Ran Feng Ge to wear, he himself had changed into a handsome little suit; all this was because Su Yi Mo wanted to drag Ran Feng Ge to a professional photo shoot, so that they could use this as their wedding photo in the future!

As no one had bothered to teach the two youngsters sex education, Su Yi Mo and Ran Feng Ge took it for granted that as long as they liked each other they could one day marry and be together.

Halfway through the ride to the studio, a several black vehicles appeared out of nowhere, and proceeded to follow the car Su Yi Mo and Ran Feng Ge were in. Two vehicles in particular were following particularly close.

The two little boys seated in the back seat were laughing and joking around as usual, unaware of the sudden change in the situation. However, Ah Huo who had been driving the car knew something was wrong the moment he spied the approach of the black vehicles. He immediately used his phone to call for backup.  At the moment, there was only him and the children in the car, the other bodyguards had driven separately – Ah Huo could only hope that the other bodyguards would be able to arrive in time.

Hearing Ah Huo deliberately lowering his voice to talk on the phone drew Su Yi Mo’s attention, his features quickly turning cold as he asked “Ah Huo, what has happened?”

“Young Master, there are a couple of cars following us from behind.” Ah Huo replied honestly.

“Can’t you get rid of them?” Su Yi Mo responded, furrowing his brows as he turned his little body towards the rear window to peek out of it.

He was about to take his wedding photo with Ran Feng Ge! Why did these assholes have to appear at this moment to ruin the day for them! Annoying!

Ï have tried to lose them before, but I was unable to. They seem like professionals.” Ah Huo replied as he stepped on the accelerator.

Ran Feng Ge immediately turned around on the seat so that he could look out the rear window, there were indeed a number of black cars chasing them aggressively.

At that moment Ran Feng Ge remembered the conversion he’d had with Master Su when he had been summoned to Master Su’s study. At that time Master Su asked “Feng Ge, Ah Mo is our Su Family’s only heir. I have made a lot of enemies in my business dealings, and they are always trying to target our Su family in hopes of destroying us completely. They know they are unable to target me directly, so they have been trying to get to Ah Mo instead. You know martial arts, don’t you? If you have the time, please teach my little Ah Mo some styles so that he would be able to defend himself. And… should there ever be a time where he needs it, I hope you will be able to help protect him please?”

He remembered once he’d heard Master Su’s request, he had wiped the innocent smile he had on his face in an attempt to morph his features into one which looked more matured so as to let Master Su know he can be relied on.

Su Yi Mo did not know what was happening in Ran Feng Ge’s head, but he watched as Ran Feng Ge steeled his facial features as he had the day Ran Feng Ge first met Su Yi Mo’s father. Su Yi Mo thought that it was because Ran Feng Ge was afraid. With a cheeky smile, Su Yi Mo leaned over and pecked Ran Feng Ge on his lips and told him “Xiao Pian Zi (Little Liar), don’t be scared! I will protect you. These sorts of situations, I’ve been through them many times! There won’t be any problems.” as he tried to comfort the other boy.

“Okay.” Ran Feng Ge had already made up his mind, but he did not say anything to Su Yi Mo. Knowing Su Yi Mo’s personality, if he knew what Ran Feng Ge had planned, Su Yi Mo would never allow it.

However, no matter how optimistic Su Yi Mo was, the situation this time did not pan out as he had hoped. Two black cars had Su Yi Mo’s car sandwiched between them, taking turns ramming into the side of their car. Ah Huo stepped on the accelerator in an attempt to out run them but even with Ah Huo’s elite driving skills; he was still unable to escape.

The other party were well organized. The car behind obstructed the rest of Su Yi Mo’s bodyguards from providing any assistance.

The two children in the car sat hugging each other as they tried to protect the other from the other vehicles ramming into the side doors. Ran Feng Ge looked up at Su Yi Mo and calmly said: “Ah Mo, thank you for watching over me these past few days.”

Su Yi Mo looked at Ran Feng Ge’s serious face and could not help himself from cracking a smile at how cute his little wife was. He leaned forward and gave Ran Feng Ge another kiss: “What are you being polite for! I am the one who needs to thank you for playing with me all this while!”

Ran Feng Ge could not help but chuckle lightly before he turned to look out the windows at the persistent cars.

Ah Huo had managed to get a little ahead of the cars, looking at the road in front of them, Ran Feng Ge saw that there was a sharp bend in the road. Ah, perfect opportunity.

Su Yi Mo looked at Ran Feng Ge who had suddenly turned anxious and said: “Don’t be scared. Ah Huo has already called for assistance, what’s more, the other body guards are just at the back, they will definitely be able to catch up to us and save us!”

“Okay…” Ran Feng Ge replied a little absentmindedly before suddenly jerking his face towards Su Yi Mo. Reaching out with his small hands, Ran Feng Ge pulled at Su Yi Mo’s suit jacket, removing it as quickly as he could before reaching for the little tie next. He pulled at the tie and messed up Su Yi Mo’s pristine silk shirt. Lastly, he ripped open Su Yi Mo’s sleeves and messed up his hair.

Su Yi Mo was confused: “Little Liar, what are you doing making me look so messy?”

“Don’t mind it.” Ran Feng Ge said as he pulled himself to the door and watched the road for the right moment.

Su Yi Mo was indeed Su Yi Mo, he was an intelligent little kid and very quickly caught on to Ran Feng Ge’s train of thought in that he was going to jump out of the car and tell those people chasing them that he was Su Yi Mo instead; acting as his decoy so that Su Yi Mo would be able to get away safe and sound.

“Little Liar! I know what you are thinking, and I won’t allow it! We just need to stay here and persevere a little more, and the bodyguards will be here soon! We will definitely be alright! Don’t do anything stupid! They will never believe you are me!” Su Yi Mo yelled out as he grasped tightly onto Ran Feng Ge’s little hand.

Ran Feng Ge looked at Su Yi Mo blankly and replied “Who said I was going to jump?”

Su Yi Mo stared at Ran Feng Ge hard, he was trying to spot any signs of him lying but could not see any.

“Really?”

“Of course.”

“Then, what are you opening the door for?”

“That is because I wanted to do something else.” Ran Feng Ge said as he beamed at Su Yi Mo with a face full of innocence.

With that smile, Su Yi Mo felt himself settle down, but before he could say anything else, Ran Feng Ge had used the jacket he removed from before to cover Su Yi Mo’s entire head. Before anyone could do anything, Su Yi Mo felt a firm hand push him and with a yelp he felt himself falling out the car door.

It was at this point in time that the car they were in reached the bend in the road! Next to the road was a lush green field. The cars chasing them hadn’t yet caught up to them.

Therefore, this was the perfect opportunity to push someone out of the car and said someone would still be unharmed. There was no rough asphalt to tear at the skin nor was there a hard ground to break any bones. Due to the curving road the cars behind them wouldn’t be able to accidently hit the fallen body either.

When this happened, not only did Su Yi Mo find himself confused whilst tumbling across the soft grass, Ah Huo who had been driving the car was taken aback as well, stepping on the brakes as soon as he gathered his wits back.

Ah Huo had almost yelled out “Young Master!” before Ran Feng Ge’s tiny hands covered his mouth. From behind, Ran Feng Ge’s voice said, “Don’t yell out his name. I am your young master now! The one who was pushed out was the butler’s son!”

Ah Huo’s eyes widened in horror as Ran Feng Ge quickly leaned out the back door that had been opened and stared at the various cars that had stopped the moment they saw someone fall out of their car.

At this point in time, Ran Feng Ge yelled out in a petrified voice, “That-that boy there is the young master! I am only the butler’s child! I have nothing to do with this! That boy there! That’s the young master! He’s the young master!”

By repeatedly denying that he was the young master, Ran Feng Ge acted as though he was trying to push the blame on someone innocent. As soon as he finished, Ran Feng Ge immediately looked back at Ah Huo and yelled “Drive!”

Ah Huo was stunned. Ran Feng Ge wanted him to drive away at this time and leave Su Yi Mo all alone?

“Quickly!” Ran Feng Ge whispered anxiously, “Drive now! That will let them think that I am the young master!”

Ah Huo understood his intent immediately and quickly stepped on the accelerator.

When this happened the drivers from the cars chasing them, immediately took the bait and believed that Ran Feng Ge was the true Young Master Su. If he were really just the butler’s kid, why would he be so anxious to announce his status? And why would the driver actually listen to his commands if he were merely the butler’s kid. If he lost the true young master, he wouldn’t be able to escape punishment. Being that willing to drive away that quickly meant that the one who had been tossed out of the car was the butler’s kid and the one still in the car was the young master of the Su family.

The child that had been bundled within the suit jacket and tossed out of the car tumbled across the grass field before coming to a stop. When he had been pushed out of the car by Ran Feng Ge, Su Yi Mo believed that he was actually going to die. He could not believe that Ran Feng Ge was so cold hearted, that he was willing to risk Su Yi Mo’s life!

But the moment he pulled the suit jacket off his head and righted himself on the grass field, Su Yi Mo realized the assholes who had been chasing them so fervently were not giving him any attention at all!

Little Liar did care after all!

Little Liar, even at his age knew how to use reverse psychology on those grown men!

But… But… Isn’t Little Liar in more danger now?!

Su Yi Mo snapped back to reality the moment he realized the implications of Ran Feng Ge’s actions and quickly yelled out as he chased after the black cars that were now leaving him behind, “Me! I am the true young master of the Su Family! Me! You are chasing the wrong person!”

“Oi! I am the real Young Master Su! You are really chasing the wrong person!”

“I am here! I am the real Young Master Su… Come and get me instead!”

How could two adolescent legs ever catch up to speeding cars?

Su Yi Mo chased the cars for as far as he could until he lost sights of both his family car and the assailants’ cars. Stumbling, Su Yi Mo fell onto the asphalt road, cutting up his palms and knees as he tried standing up to continue running, tears pooling and finally falling from his eyes.

“Little Liar…. Uwahhhh… Little Liar!!”

“You assholes! Come back… I am the real Young Master Su…”

“I am the real Su Yi Mo…”

Not long after, the bodyguards who had not been able to rush in with their assistance caught up with Su Yi Mo. The little boy was lying on the road, sobbing out loud as he tried to catch up with his Little Liar.

The body guards stopped their cars, and one of them stepped forward to pull Su Yi Mo up: “Young master, are you alright?”

The moment Su Yi Mo realized that help had arrived, he used the edge of his sleeves to wipe up his tears and snot before pointing in the direction where Ran Feng Ge had disappeared in: “Quickly! Little Liar is in danger!”

The bodyguards looked at each other, all of them thinking along the same lines that it was no easy feat to rescue their young master, and now he wanted to jump straight back into the fray? What if something happened, wouldn’t that just put Ran Feng Ge’s efforts to waste?

“I am ordering you! Get in the car and chase them down!”

As soon as he called that out, little Su Yi Mo rushed to the car right at the front and yanked open the car door, pulling himself in at one go, his face a look of cold determination.

At this time, Master Su had also arrived at the scene. Having gotten information that his beloved little son was involved in a car chase was enough to cause him a heart attack right then and there. Rushing out from his own car, Master Su ran up to the bodyguard’s car and only felt his heart ease up after seeing his son perfectly safe and healthy. Pulling little Su Yi Mo into his embrace, Master Su could not help muttering, “You are safe! You are safe Ah Mo. Good thing you are alright; you’ve scared daddy so badly!”

“Daddy… Little Liar… He, to save me, pretended to be me! He drew away all the bad people! Quickly! We have to go and save him! We have to go and save him please?” Su Yi Mo pleaded; his voice full of apprehension and sadness.

“Ok, ok! We will go save him right this instance!” Master Su said as he pulled Su Yi Mo with him into his own private car, “You stay here with daddy okay?”

Master Su had been really scared. There was no way he was going to be able to let his son out of his sights soon.

“Daddy! Hurry!” Su Yi Mo cried.

“Okay! Okay!”

With his permission, the bodyguards quickly accelerated in the direction Ran Feng Ge’s car had headed.

However, as soon as they caught a glimpse of the black cars speeding in front of them, a loud explosion sounded and a car burst into flames right in the midst of all the other cars. The fireball from the car was large and reached towards the sky with thick putrid black smoke pouring out everywhere.

“Little Liar–” Su Yi Mo’s eyes burned, the car that had exploded, was the car he had been in earlier.
